Submission Guidelines

1. The slogan must be in English with no more than eight words. It should be easy to remember, and it should reflect the mission of Shi-Tai United Fund (STUF).
2. A complementary Chinese slogan is suggested, but optional. The Chinese version should not exceed 10 words. While a submission in both languages will be a plus, English version will be weighted more heavily. Submission with only Chinese will not be considered. STUF preserves the right to adopt only the English version even when the contestant submits in both languages. 
3. The selection criteria will be based on (1) how well the slogan connects to the organization’s mission, (2) how easily the slogan can be remembered, and (3) how inspired this slogan sounds
4. All submission must be the original work. If your design produces trademark problems due to potential similarities to existing trademarks, it will not be considered. 

How to enter

1. Please send your submission to Claire Hsieh at claireh@shitaiunitedfund.org before 11:59 pm EST, June 9, 2010. In the email, please include the slogan(s) you propose, your name, email address, postal address, and contact phone number. You can briefly explain your concept (no more than 100 words). Please also attach the electronically-signed agreement. (See the link below)
2. Each contestant can propose up to three sets of slogans. (A set means the English version and the complementary Chinese version.) You can submit all your proposed slogans in a single email. 
3. The contestant must be residing in the U.S. or with a valid U.S. address.
4. If you are also participating in the logo design contest, please submit emails separately with two separate Agreement forms.
