About Us

Shi-Tai United Fund (STUF, 世台聯合基金會) is a not-for-profit organization with 501(c)3 status. The organization is established by members of the Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce of North America (TCCNA, 北美台灣商會聯合總會). The overall mission of STUF is to promote charity activities among Taiwanese businessmen/ businesswomen in North America. The goal is to consolidate resources from our members and create a NPO/NGO network to distribute assistance to communities in need, just like “the United Way of Taiwanese Community.”


Mission
1. With the contribution from Taiwanese business people, STUF works with other nonprofit organizations to strive for a better community
2. Join UN Global Compact as a NGO member to fulfill social responsibilities of businesses
3. Collaborate with TCC around the world to provide resources for charity relief, cultural & educational activities, and environmental protection
4. Assist local TCC chapters in establishing not-for-profit charity organizations to provide resources for charity relief, cultural & educational activities, and environmental protection
5. Encourage members of Taiwanese Junior Chambers of Commerce (TJCC) to participate in charity activities

How will we work
1. Fund-raise from TCC members and the general public and distribute to organizations and communities in need
2. Create a NPO/NGO network to share resources and provide assistance
3. Provide TCC members with information about charity activities; encourage and assist members to engage in philanthropy
