Shi-Tai United Fund (STUF) is inviting you to enter our logo design contest!
We are looking for great logo design to help us promote our cause.
Your talent will be seen by hundreds of business people through out North America, and your work will be an important element to inspire charity activities.

Most importantly, you will be rewarded if chosen as a winner!

The first place winner will get $200.

Submission Guidelines
Content (Revised on June 4, 2010)

1. The logo will contain a globe with a shape of Taiwan in the center. Under the shape of Taiwan, there must be six heart-shaped sweet potato leaves (心型蕃薯葉) to represent six continents and the spirit of Taiwan.
2. Suggested colors: the globe can be in gold and/or blue, and the shape of Taiwan can be in light green. 
3. The logo must also contain both the Chinese and English names of the organization, “世台聯合基金會“ and “Shi-Tai United Fund” or the abbreviated English name, “STUF”, is acceptable. The logo should not contain any other text.
4. The selection criteria will be based on how professional the design shows and the overall aesthetic image.
5. The logo must be the original work. If your design produces trademark problems due to potential similarities to existing trademarks, it will not be considered.

  

Format

1. The logo is expected to be used on STUF business card, website, print materials, big banners, T-shirts, etc. It should look clear and recognizable in both small and large sizes.
2. The submission should include the following three formats: (1) .eps (2) .pdf (3) .jpg or .bmp
3. Please also include a word document with a short paragraph (200 words maximum) explaining your design concept in English or Chinese.

 

How to enter

1. Please send all your files--three formats of the design, the design concept document, and an electronically-signed agreement which can be downloaded from the link below--to Claire Hsieh at claireh@shitaiunitedfund.org before 11:59 pm EST, June 9, 2010. In the email, please include your name, email address, postal address, and contact phone number. The size of each email should not exceed 20MB.
2. The contestant must be residing in the U.S. or with a valid U.S. address. We will mail the check to your postal address.
3. Each of the contestants can submit up to three designs. Please send separate emails for each of your design.
